Russian spy poisoning appears to have affected house prices in Salisbury

In an article from Property Industry Eye, it has been reported that house prices in Salisbury have fallen by 8.8% between May to July 2018 (where the average house price was £328,243) compared to February to April 2018 (where the average house price was £299,207) whereas the average price of Wiltshire as a whole increased by 1.7% over both periods. This is according to research using Land Registry and Home.co.uk. The article suggests that it is down to the events that occurred earlier in the year where a former Russian spy and his daughter were poisoned in Salisbury. You can read more here.
